Concealed Carry Class

Firearm Type: Handgun

Skill Level: Intermediate

This course is a follow up to the Handgun 101 class where students learn if concealed carry is for them.

In this concealed carry training, your instructor will first review various carrying techniques and methods. If the student owns a handgun and already has a favorite holster or other carry method, they are welcomed to bring both their UNLOADED handgun and holster to the class.

The instructor will spend a large portion of the class time teaching and getting students to understand the most important aspect of concealed carry…. Doing it legally.

Students will be invited to participate in a live fire event on the range. This will give students real  exposure to drawing a firearm from a concealed position, and shooting various targets down range.

This class will provide New Jersey Residents with the training and documented qualifications as required for their Concealed Carry Permits.

At the conclusion of the class, gun owners who decide they want to conceal carry will have all the necessary information on how to go about doing it safely, responsibly, and legally.

Topics to be covered include, but are not limited to:

  • Process of obtaining a concealed carry permit.
  • The lifestyle of concealed carry.
  • Human behavior as it pertains to carrying a concealed firearm.
  • Proper wardrobe.
  • Methods of carry.
  • Weapon selection and caliber choice.
  • All applicable laws
